Anyone put higher bars on their bike? I don't just mean the riser types but a complete new set. I saw one on another forum sometime back where the bars were much higher and straight giving much more of a sit-up style.

LSL kit-Superbike high bars.4" lift,7"pullback.Adjustable by loosening bar clamps(in center)and rotating bars forward(up) and backward(down).Made a world of difference.I was riding yesterday and I noticed the bar position-in reality, they are only wider than the stock clipons by an inch or so,and the pullback is what really makes the difference.Their configuration is virtually the same as the stock clipon.I can ride all day and not feel the least bit uncomfortable.I'm 6'1".They allow me to sit against the tank and be upright which helps me to relax more. They still function as your clipons as far as handling wise-I would even say they need "less" force when cornering because the bar ends are higher and closer to you. They were spendy-but worth it to me($450.00).Ride safe!!

I've got the LSL kit and am pretty happy with it. Different bars would probably be better (easier to fit throttlemeister, etc) as the LSL bar has an odd size ID.
But....I was looking at the converti-bar kit and now sorry I hadn't heard of this sooner. You can raise / lower and adjust the bar angle at will!

+1 on the LSL kit I have the Renthals in stead of that came with the kit. I got an extra 2" from the bar change, I was content with just the Heli bars but got rear ended in my car and have a whole bunch of damage in my lower back and can't really lean over, so it was the LSL kit or sell the bike but really that wasn't an option.
